Coral Information Center
Cleaning and Brightening Coral
Use appropriate size container, dishpan or sink etc. Fill container half full of water
and add 40 to 50% with Clorox or generic brand.
Let soak until desired brightness. Rinse well and air dry.
For basic dusting of corals use can of compressed air found at any office supply store.

Repairing Broken Coral
Repairing a broken branch or stalks on coral. Match the broken piece to the base stalk that is broke off, gently align "or rotate" broken piece to where it matches into the base, the piece will fit in like a puzzle and the crack will virtually disappear. Remember the alignment and separate the two pieces and apply Super Glue or equivalent, 3 or 4 drops to both the base and broken stalk, let air dry for 20 -30 seconds and reset the broken branch back to the base stalk. Remember when placed correctly the crack will virtually disappear. Hold firmly in place for two to three minutes, let sit on counter and air dry for an hour or two.
